Alternative
Financing
Commercial Funding International, LLC (CFI) is committed to responsibly serving
the financial needs of its clients with integrity, sensitivity, and responsiveness.
We provide a variety of services for individuals and businesses, finding
money outside the traditional lending community. This usually involves offering
cash for all or a portion of incoming payments or finding money for a purchase.
Some of the services offered are listed below:
Alternative Financing - Business Services
- Accounts Receivable Financing
-
Cash for business notes
-
Purchase order funding
-
Equipment leases
Alternative Financing - Personal Services
- Cash for seller held mortgage notes
- Cash for collateral based installment notes (cars, boats, planes, …)
- Cash for structured settlements
A/R Financing - The sale of invoices (factoring) is a common practice for
fast growing businesses or companies in survival mode. Factoring companies
purchase invoices at a discount in exchange for providing immediate cash.
Credit transactions become cash transactions, recovering working capital
to fund additional sales or pay bills. When used strategically, factoring
can increase profits without bank loans. Fees are based on credit worthiness
of customers rather than the business that uses the services. Programs
are available for commercial, medical, or construction receivables.
Business Loans - CFI can help businesses in the lending process for commercial
expenditures. This extends from financing commercial real estate to acquiring
SBA financing for business development.
Business Notes - It is estimated that 75% of all businesses are sold on
private contract. It may be possible to sell those contracts when previous
owners want cash instead of payments. We can help the seller by providing
a source who can purchase the incoming payment stream for a lump sum of cash.
Commercial Debt Management - Companies with Accounts
Payable problems can have their debt restructured to reduce stress while
they concentrate on additional
income. CDM’s goal is to cut existing debt by 50% and eliminate time
consuming creditor calls.
Equipment Leasing - Most companies that require specialized business equipment
can lease. The advantages of leasing include conserving working capital,
off balance sheet recording, fast tax write off, better cash flow, and an
improved credit rating. It may even cost less than bank financing. You choose
what to buy and from whom, then pay for it as it enhances your income stream
instead of by bank financing or direct company expense.
Other Payment Streams - We can help exchange many incoming payments for
cash, such as annuities, judgments, commissions, lottery winnings, and structured
settlements.
Private Mortgages - It is often advantageous for a buyer and a seller to
agree on a private financial contract (Seller held mortgage note). We can
consult on how the note would ideally be created, and help both parties in
the transaction process. Once the agreement is completed in an escrow closing,
we can help the seller obtain a lump sum for all or part of the incoming
payments.
Purchase Order Funding - Businesses may occasionally receive purchase requests
that exceed their capacity to deliver. Such requests would be from creditworthy
customers for personal property (i.e., physical items that are transportable)
to companies that have shown previous success in managing their business.
When this occurs, we can arrange for the sale of the purchase order for immediate
cash. The funding company provides the working capital the business needs
to fulfill the order while collecting a discount through the invoice process.
Store Contracts - Retail sales for products or services may be easier to
sell with store contracts. We can help the funding process by providing customer
financing and/or portfolio sales. Retail financing means store contract for
expensive consumer products are financed by a lender. Portfolio sales involve
the transfer of multiple collateral based store held contracts to a funding
source.
